Casualties of the Gaza War (2008–2009)

Human rights organizations and the United States Department of State estimated Palestinian casualties of the Gaza War (2008–2009) as "1,400 Palestinians killed, including more than 1,000 civilians", though Israel disagreed. The total Israeli casualties were 13, including three non-combatants and 10 combatants (four Israeli soldiers were killed in friendly fire incidents).
