'Chambers of rhetoric(Dutch: rederijkerskamers) were dramatic societies in the Low Countries. Their members were called Rederijkers (singular: Rederijker), from the French word "rhétoricien", and during the 15th and 16th centuries were mainly interested in dramas and lyrics.
