The China Ship Scientific Research Center (Chinese: 中国船舶科学研究中心), also referred to as the 702 Research Institute (Chinese: 702研究所), is a research facility associated with the China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC), situated in the Binhu District, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, People's Republic of China. == History == Established in 1951 in the Huangpu River in Shanghai, the 702 Institute was initially referred to as the China Shipbuilding Research Center.
