The China–Nepal border is the international boundary between the Tibet Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China and Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal. The landlocked Himalayan nation of Nepal is strategically positioned as a "buffer" between the two Asian giants, India to the south and China (Tibet) to the north.
