Chinese Taipei at the Asian Games

Taiwan, officially the Republic of China (ROC), first competed at the Asian Games in 1954 and continued participating at the games under various names. Due to political factors, the ROC delegation was refused to participate in the 1962 Asian Games by host Indonesian government.
