Chingford is a suburban town in east London, England, within the London Borough of Waltham Forest. Situated in the Lea Valley, around 9+1⁄2 miles (15 kilometres) north-east of Charing Cross, it lies between the River Lea in the west and Epping Forest in the north and east.
