Choe Ryong-hae (Korean: 최룡해; born 15 January 1950) is a North Korean politician and military officer who served as the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly and First Vice President of the State Affairs Commission, holding both positions from April 2019 to March 2026. Born in 1950 to prominent North Korean guerilla Choe Hyon, Choe joined the Korean People's Army in 1967.
