Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan

The Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP) is the plan enacted by the U.S. Congress for the restoration of the Everglades ecosystem in south Florida. When originally authorized by the U.S. Congress through the Water Resources Act of 2000, it was estimated that CERP would cost a total of $8.2 billion and take approximately 30 years to complete.
