Concentrator photovoltaics
Concentrator photovoltaics (CPV), also called concentrating photovoltaics or concentration photovoltaics, is a photovoltaic technology that generates electricity from sunlight. Unlike conventional photovoltaic systems, it uses lenses or curved mirrors to focus sunlight onto small, highly efficient, multi-junction (MJ) solar cells.
