Copa MX was a professional association football competition in Mexico and a domestic cup tournament for clubs at the highest and second levels of Mexican football league system. Formerly named Copa México (1942–1963, 1970–1976, 1987–1992, 1994–1997) and Copa Presidente (1963–1970), it was the first competition that included clubs from different regions of Mexico.
