Council of State (Myanmar)

The Council of State (Burmese: နိုင်ငံတော်ကောင်စီ [nàɪɰ̃ŋàɰ̃dɔ̀ kaʊ̀ɰ̃sì]) was the constitutional authority of the Socialist Republic of the Union of Burma. It was exercised as quasi-legislative power and supreme administrative power.
