The Amargosa River pupfish (Cyprinodon nevadensis amargosae) is a member of a pupfish species complex which inhabits the watershed of ancient Lake Manly (present day Death Valley in California, USA). Currently, the species inhabits two disjunct perennial reaches of the lower Amargosa River.
