Daman district (English: /də'mɑːn/, Gujarati: [d̪əmən]) is one of three districts of the Indian union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. It is located on the west coast of India and is surrounded by the Valsad district of Gujarat to the north, east, and south; and by the Arabian Sea to the west.
