Death and state funeral of Kim Jong Il

Kim Jong Il died on 17 December 2011 as reported by Korean Central Television. The presenter Ri Chun-hee announced that he had died on 17 December at 8:30 am of a massive heart attack while traveling by train to an area outside Pyongyang.
