Digital terrestrial television in the Philippines
Digital terrestrial television (DTT) in the Philippines began in 2015 with the implementation of the Japanese ISDB-T DTT service standard. Color television had made its debut in the Philippines in November 1966 using the American NTSC analog television service standard, which DTT was intended to replace throughout the Philippines by the end of 2024.
