Dimitrovgrad (Serbian: Димитровград; Bulgarian: Димитровград), historically also known as Caribrod or Tsaribrod (Serbian: Цариброд; Bulgarian: Цариброд), is a town and municipality in the Pirot District of southeastern Serbia, in the upper Nišava valley near the border with Bulgaria. The municipality had 8,043 inhabitants at the 2022 census, of whom 5,188 lived in the urban settlement.
