The Dixie Mafia, or the Dixie Mob, originally referred to a loosely connected criminal organization that was based in Biloxi, Mississippi and which operated primarily throughout the Southern United States from the 1960s to the 1980s. It engaged in burglary, theft, robbery and fencing.
