Douglas Ross (Scottish politician)

Douglas Gordon Ross (born 27 January 1983) is a Scottish politician and professional football referee who served as Leader of the Scottish Conservative Party from 2020 to 2024 and as leader of the largest opposition party in the Scottish Parliament from 2021 to 2024. He served as the Member of the UK Parliament (MP) for Moray from 2017 to 2024, and as a Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for the Highlands and Islands electoral region from 2016 to 2017 and again from 2021 to 2026.
