Dwekh Nawsha (Syriac: ܕܒ݂ܝܚ ܢܦ̮ܫܐ; literally "self-sacrificing") was an Assyrian military organization created in June 2014. The group was created in response to the Fall of Mosul and the takeover of the ISIS in order to defend Iraq's Assyrian (and Christian) population.
