A dzi bead (Tibetan: གཟི།; pronounced "zee"; alternative spelling: gzi) a type of agate bead of uncertain origin found in the Himalayan regions including Tibet, Bhutan, Nepal and Ladakh. Traditionally they are worn as part of a traditional Tibetan necklace.
