Èṣù is the oriṣa of trickery, chance, crossroads, judgement, duality and languages in the Yoruba religion. Eṣu is a prominent primordial divinity (a delegated Irúnmọlẹ̀ sent by Olodumare) who descended from Ìkọ̀lé Ọ̀run, and the chief enforcer of natural and divine laws.
