Edo (Ẹ̀dó [ɛ̀.dó]; English: , locally: /ˈedo/), also known as Bini, is the language spoken by the Edo people in Edo State, Nigeria. It was the primary language of the Benin Empire and its predecessor, Igodomigodo.
