Efforts to reform the United States Electoral College
The Electoral College is an informal name for the U.S. Constitutional system for selecting the president. The electoral system was a compromise added by the constitutional framers on Committee on Postponed Matters after the convention could not agree whether the House or Senate would take the lead role in electing the president of the United States.
