Egyptian Peacekeeping Forces

Due to the capabilities of the Egyptian Army, its battalions are often selected to participate abroad in to establish stability and peace in tense spots in the world, within the peacekeeping forces. 1,654 (1548 males and 106 females) individuals (April 2024) currently participate in international missions deployed in several regions and countries in Africa.
