Elisabeth Jenny Jeanne Maxwell (née Meynard; 11 March 1921 – 7 August 2013) was a French-born researcher of the Holocaust who established the journal Holocaust and Genocide Studies in 1987. She was married to publishing tycoon Robert Maxwell from 1945 until his death in 1991, and was the mother of socialite and child sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell.
