Emperor Taizong's campaign against Xueyantuo

Early in his reign Emperor Taizong of Tang (r. 626–649), had allied with Xueyantuo, a vassal of the Eastern Turkic Khaganate, against the Eastern Turks, who the Tang defeated in 630.
