Morocco's energy policy is defined and implemented by several public institutions, primarily the Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, with the involvement of sectoral agencies such as the National Office of Hydrocarbons and Mines (ONHYM) and the Office National de l'Électricité et de l'Eau potable (ONEE), which are responsible respectively for hydrocarbons and electricity.
