Erie people

The Erie, also known as the Eriehronon, Ehriehronnons, Eriechronon, or La Nation du Chat, were an Indigenous people of the Northeastern Woodlands who lived in the lower Great Lakes region until the mid-17th century. An Iroquoian people, they shared many cultural traits with their neighbors including the Neutral, Wendat (Huron) and Seneca.
