Executive Order 9102
Executive Order 9102 is a United States presidential executive order creating the War Relocation Authority (WRA), the US civilian agency responsible for the forced relocation and internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II. The executive order was signed by President Franklin Roosevelt on March 18, 1942, and was terminated by President Harry S. Truman on June 26, 1946, with operations ceasing on June 30. The Director reported directly to the president of the United States.
