Exogenous lactate

Exogenous lactate, sometimes referred to as Exolactate, is L-lactate that is supplied to the body from an external source, typically as an oral supplement or, in research and medical settings, by intravenous infusion. It has investigated as a potential ergogenic aid in endurance sports, as a recovery substrate and as a metabolic intervention in clinical contexts such as traumatic brain injury and metabolic disease.
