Adolphe Sylvestre Félix Éboué (French: [adɔlf silvɛstʁ feliks ebwe]; 26 December 1884 – 17 May 1944) was a French colonial administrator. He was the first black French man appointed to a high post in the French colonies, when appointed acting governor of Guadeloupe in 1936.
