FE-Schrift

The FE-Schrift, or Fälschungserschwerende Schrift (German pronunciation: [fɛlʃʊŋsɐʃveːʁəndə ʃʁɪft], 'forgery-impeding typeface'), is a sans serif typeface introduced for use on license plates. Its monospaced letters and numbers are slightly disproportionate to prevent easy modification and to improve machine readability.
