Foreign policy of the Biden administration
The United States' foreign policy under president Joe Biden's administration (2021–2025) emphasized repairing U.S. alliances, which Biden argued were damaged during the preceding first administration of Donald Trump. Biden sought to restore the U.S. to a "position of trusted leadership" amongst global democracies in order to address challenges posed by Russia and China.
