François Pinault
François Henri Joseph Pinault (French pronunciation: [fʁɑ̃swa pino]; born 21 August 1936) is a French billionaire businessman, founder of the luxury group Kering (Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta) and the investment holding company Groupe Artémis (Château Latour, Christie's, Pinault Collection, Stade Rennais FC, Creative Artists Agency). In the early 1960s, Pinault started a timber-trading business.
