Francis Xavier Suarez ( SWAH-rez; born October 6, 1977) is an American lawyer and politician who served as the 43rd mayor of Miami from 2017 to 2025. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as a member of the Miami City Commission from 2009 to 2017.
