Galician Language Association

The Galician Language Association (Galician: Associaçom Galega da Língua, pronounced [asɔθjaˈθoŋ ɡaˈleɣɐ dɐ ˈliŋɡwɐ] or [asɔsjaˈsoŋ ɡaˈleɣɐ dɐ ˈliŋɡwɐ]; AGAL) is a Galician linguistic and cultural association founded on 31 October 1981. Its objectives are the promotion and standardization of the Galician language, understanding it to be the same language as Portuguese.
