Geo (landform)

A geo or gio (Shaetlan pronunciation: [ɡjoː] GYOH, from Old Norse gjá) is an inlet, a gully or a narrow and deep cleft in the face of a cliff. Geos are common on the coastline of the Shetland and Orkney islands.
