George Hodel

George Hill Hodel (October 10, 1907 – May 17, 1999) was an American physician, and a prime suspect in the 1947 murder of Elizabeth Short, also known as the Black Dahlia. He was initially considered a viable suspect but never formally charged with the crime and police ultimately cleared him after several weeks of investigation.
