Gershgorin circle theorem

In mathematics, the Gershgorin circle theorem (also called sometimes Gershgorin Disk Theorem) may be used to bound the spectrum of a square matrix. It was first published by the Soviet mathematician Semyon Aronovich Gershgorin in 1931.
