Global Country of World Peace

The Global Country of World Peace (GWCP) is a non-profit world government organization that aims to promote transcendental meditation, education, and the construction of "buildings for peace" in the world's major cities. Inaugurated by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, on 7 October 2000, the GCWP was originally conceived as "a country without borders for peace-loving people everywhere." The organization is run by rajas (kings), initiates who have "spiritual dominion" over an existing nation in accordance with the teachings of the Maharishi and "Divine Intelligence".
