Gnanananda was an Indian guru, referred to by followers as Swami Sri Gnanananda Giri. He was the Disciple of the Sri Sivaratna Giri Swamigal and one of the leaders (Peetathipathis) of the Jyotir Math, one of the four Mutts established by Adi Sankara.
