The go card is an electronic smartcard ticketing system currently used on the Translink public transport network (trains, trams, buses, ferries) in South East Queensland, Australia. The go card is used by holding it less than 10 cm away from a card reader to "touch on" before starting a journey, and to "touch off" before finishing a journey.
