The Golden Raspberry Awards, commonly known as the Razzie Awards or simply the Razzies, are parody awards presented for the worst films and performances of the year. Co-founded by UCLA film graduates and film industry veterans John J. B. Wilson and Mo Murphy, the annual satirical ceremony was created as a tongue-in-cheek counterpart to the Academy Awards, which predates it by about five decades.
