2006 United States immigration reform protests
The 2006 United States immigration reform protests were a series of demonstrations held across the United States between March and May 2006 in response to proposed changes to U.S. immigration policy. Millions of people participated in the protests, which scholars have identified as a significant event in the development of Latino political participation and immigrant-rights activism in the United States.
