Greek passports (Greek: Ελληνικό διαβατήριο, romanized: Ellīnikó diavatī́rio) are issued to Greek citizens for the purpose of international travel. Biometric passports have been issued since 26 August 2006, with old-style passports being declared invalid as of 1 January 2007.
