Green Mountain Coffee Roasters

Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (GMCR) was an American coffee company founded in 1979 in Waitsfield, Vermont, and later headquartered in Waterbury, Vermont. Initially established as a specialty coffee roaster serving local markets, the company expanded nationally through the 1990s and 2000s, later focusing on single-serve coffee through its ownership of Keurig.
