Gugark (Classical Armenian: Gugarats Ashkhar, meaning “the Land of Gugark”) was the thirteenth province of Greater Armenia, located in the northern part of the Armenian Highlands. It bordered Iberia (ancient Georgia) and held significant strategic importance as a protector of Armenia's northern frontiers.
