Gulf War curfew in Palestine
From January to March 1991, the Israeli government imposed an around-the-clock curfew on Israeli-occupied Palestine. Occurring during the First Intifada, the Israeli government justified the curfew as necessary to prevent outbreaks of unrest and militant attacks linked to Palestinian support for Iraq in the Gulf War.
