Harold Rawdon Briggs
Lieutenant-General Sir Harold Rawdon Briggs, (24 July 1894 – 27 October 1952) was a senior British Indian Army officer, active during the First World War, Second World War and the Malayan Emergency. Briggs was highly regarded by his superiors, among them being Field Marshal Sir William Slim, who is perhaps most famous as being the commander of the British Fourteenth Army during the Burma campaign.
