Health and Safety (Safety Signs and Signals) Regulations 1996
The Health and Safety (Safety Signs and Signals) Regulations 1996 (SI 1996/341) specify the safety signs within Great Britain; Northern Ireland has a similar law, the Health and Safety (Safety Signs and Signals) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1996 (SI 1996/119). It was issued as a transposition of the European directive 92/58/EEC and replaced the Safety Signs Regulations 1980 (SI 1980/1471).
